at the address shown above.
Geographical
Use
The
Herts Aquatics online shop is intended for access and use within the United
Kingdom (mainland only). We cannot accept any orders from outside the mainland
United Kingdom.
Making A
Purchase
Shopping
with Herts-Aquatics could not be easier. You may browse our online catalogue 24
hours a day. To purchase an item simply click on the “Add to basket” button
to add an item(s) to your shopping basket. After you have finished shopping
click on the "Checkout" button after which you will be asked for your
payment and delivery details.
Alternately
you can phone us during 9:30 am and 5:30pm Monday to Saturday and place your
order over the phone.
We accept credit card payment from all major credit and debit cards including
Visa, MasterCard, and Switch. We do not charge a surcharge for purchases made
with a credit card payment. We will not charge your credit card for any item
until it is ready for dispatch. All goods remain the property of the Herts
Aquatics until paid for in full.

Delivery
details
and charges
We
will normally deliver your order within 3 - 5 working days. If paying by cheque
delivery will be within 3 - 5 working days from clearance of the cheque. Special
order items, or heavy items such as aquariums and pond filters may have
different delivery times and we will contact you upon receipt of your order
informing you of this. The postage and packing charges apply to all
orders and are for Mainland UK only.

an item is not in stock we will back order it for you. We will always Email
indicating how long the item will take to obtain and offer you the option to
cancel your order if you would rather not wait. We will not charge your credit
card until the item(s) are ready for dispatch.

Returns
Policy
The returns policy that
Herts Aquatics operates complies with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling)
Regulations of 2000.
Any
damage or shortages to an order must be notified to Herts Aquatics within 48
hours of receipt either via email at:

order and part number ready as shown on your invoice. Depending on the nature of the problem we will arrange with
you the return of the goods to us at our expense or arrange for replacement
goods or components to be sent to you.
In
the event that the consumer decides that the goods ordered are not what he or
she wants, then an email message stating this must be sent to
within 7 days of the receipt of the goods. We will only accept these goods if
they are returned in unused and new condition. We will then undertake the refund
of the purchase price. It is the customer's responsibility to pay for the return
of the goods.

Aquatics guarantees all goods sold upon it's website for a minimum of 1 year
from the date of delivery (with the exception of perishable items such as fish
foods). Where this period is longer than 1 year the manufacturer will state the
length of guarantee upon the product’s box. In the event that goods become
faulty within the period specified, please notify us via email at:
or by phoning us on: 0845 226 7828. Please state the order number for the
original purchase and the nature of the fault. We will then contact you to
confirm that we are aware of your problem, and if appropriate dispatch
replacement parts. If necessary, the customer may have to return the faulty
goods to the Herts Aquatics. On these occasions the customer is responsible for
the costs of returning the goods. Once returned, the goods will either be
repaired or replaced free of charge.
